Virtual Clinical Solutions offers simultaneous translation in more than 100 languages as an optional feature of our concierge services. Up to 5 languages may be delivered throughout a single Virtual Meeting, offering your sites the opportunity to learn in their native language. Our friendly operators will ask each participant their language choice at the beginning of the event and place them in a language specific conference room.
During the Question / Answer sessions, participants may ask questions in their native language and our skilled interpreters will translate back to the presenter. All attendees are able to benefit from the sharing of ideas.
Simultaneous Interpretation
Simultaneous interpreters are skilled in speaking and listening at the same time, and deliver the translated speech a few seconds behind the original speaker.
Specialized equipment is usually required to transmit simultaneously interpreted speech to a large number of participants. Using state-of-the-art equipment including wired, wireless, and infrared systems, as well as two- and three-person booths. Our dedicated project managers will provide custom simultaneous interpretation solutions to meet clients' specific needs.
Consecutive Interpretation
Consecutive interpretation is often bi-directional and, unlike simultaneous interpretation, relies on the interpreter waiting for the speaker to finish a sentence or statement before beginning his/her spoken translation.
Consecutive interpretation is most commonly used during question and answer sessions in Virtual Meetings.
