History and Background of VCS
1999
Virtual Clinical Solutions’ foundation dates back to 1999, under the mantle of DigiScript, as a leading provider for digital capture of face-to-face meetings with subsequent development into on-demand training modules for Continuing Education for Pharmacists and Nurses via the internet.
2004
As the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries began to accept web-based training, DigiScript was a leader in bringing Web Conferencing, in addition to capture, production, and development of on-demand training, to domestic and global Investigational sites.
2007
DigiScript developed the initial version of its study-specific Learning Management Center (later known as Training Management Center) and converted current client portals to the new version.
DigiScript Continuing Education Programs for Pharmacists and Nurses is sold.
2008

VCS collaborated with a leading biotechnology sponsor to configure a Safety Management System to reduce the delivery time of SUSARs to global sites in accordance with FDA and ICH regulations. After validation, the first version of the VCS Safety Management Center was established.
2009
Dale Jackson is named as President to further target customers exclusively in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology market.
